Round Wood Frame LED Mirror

The Round Wood Frame LED Mirror combines three elements into one. A round mirror. An oak frame. LED backlighting. The mirror is 5mm copper-free silver glass. The oak frame has three coats of waterproof lacquer. The LED strip sits inside the frame. When the light turns on, warm yellow light shines through the frame edge. It blends perfectly with the warm wood tone. This mirror works especially well in bedroom bathrooms. It feels cozy and calm. Not cold like a plain mirror. Many boutique hotel owners choose this mirror to give their guest bathrooms a premium feel.

Oak is a natural material. Every piece of wood has a different color and grain. When we make the frame, we have a master woodworker with over ten years of experience do the selection. He picks boards with similar colors and grains for the same mirror. The result is that the four frame pieces look like they came from one piece of wood. No obvious color differences. No broken grain patterns. This step takes extra time. But it is this kind of careful work that makes our wood frame mirrors look more refined than others.

Our oak frames use traditional mortise and tenon joints at the four corners. No nails. No metal brackets. Mortise and tenon joints are strong. They do not loosen over time. The wood can expand and contract with temperature changes. This prevents cracking. Each tenon is carefully machined. The joint fits perfectly. From the outside, you can barely see the seam. The frame width is 4 to 6cm. The thickness is about 2cm. The visual feel is solid but not bulky.

The LED strip sits in a slot on the inner edge of the frame. The slot is 3mm deep and 8mm wide. The strip sits in the slot and is held by 3M tape. From the front, you cannot see the strip at all. You only see a ring of even light coming from the gap between the mirror and the frame. The gap is about 2mm. We tested different gap sizes. Less than 2mm and the light does not come out well. More than 2mm and the light band looks too wide and rough.
