The key to a good rectangle mirror is the parallelism of the four sides. If the two long sides are not parallel, the reflection will look wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. Our high-precision straight-line edging machine keeps the long sides straight and parallel. The error is less than 1mm per meter.
Many customers need large rectangle mirrors. Some go from the vanity up to the ceiling. Others are full-length mirrors for dressing. Our equipment can cut glass up to 2.4 meters long. So our rectangle mirrors can reach about 2.2 meters (with some allowance). The width is up to you. We can do 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, or narrow strips like 15×120cm. If you need a mirror longer than 2.2 meters, we can make it in sections. We join the sections on site. We polish the joint smooth. Visually, you can barely see the seam.
Large mirrors are most at risk during shipping. They can break easily. Our packing method is careful. We put a layer of pearl cotton between each mirror. We use a wooden crate on the outside. We add corner protectors. The wood is at least 1.5cm thick. The crate will not bend when forklifts move it. For installation, we recommend two people for large rectangle mirrors. Use a level to get it straight. Our hanging plates have strong load capacity. Each plate can hold 20kg. A large mirror usually gets four plates. The safety margin is generous.
