Frameless LED Bathroom Mirror

The Frameless LED Bathroom Mirror is the ultimate minimalist design. There is no frame to distract. Only the 5mm copper-free silver mirror and the ground edge remain. The LED strip sits on the back of the mirror. When the light turns on, the mirror seems to float on the wall. A soft halo of light surrounds it. With no frame, the visual effect is very pure. We recommend pairing this mirror with white or light gray tiles. The warm or cool light creates a complete halo on the wall. It looks like a full moon hanging on the wall.

Installing the strip on a frameless mirror is different from a framed mirror. A framed mirror hides the strip inside the frame. A frameless mirror has no frame. The strip must stick to the back edge. To keep the strip hidden from the front, we use a "recessed" installation method. The strip sits 3 to 5mm from the mirror edge. From the front, you see nothing but the mirror. The light comes through the gap between the mirror and the wall. We also add a light-diffusing film over the strip. This turns the point light source into a smooth light surface.

Framed mirrors have some protection from the frame. Frameless mirrors have none. The circuits are fully exposed. Our approach is thorough. The strip and power wires are fully encapsulated in waterproof silicone. The connectors are injection-molded waterproof plugs. The entire circuit area on the back is covered with a waterproof insulating coating. Every mirror is tested with power and water before it leaves the factory. The waterproof rating is IP44. Normal splashing will not affect the circuits. But do not submerge the mirror in water.

Frameless LED mirrors are lighter than framed ones. But they still have electrical components. Stability is still important. We use a dual-mounting method. Two stainless steel hanging plates go on the upper back. These carry most of the weight. A few strips of adhesive go on the lower back. These prevent the bottom from moving. This method keeps large frameless mirrors secure while keeping the installation invisible. From the front, you see no hardware at all.
