Anti-Fog LED Bathroom Mirror

The Anti-Fog LED Bathroom Mirror has the most practical feature of all our LED mirrors. Its core function is defogging. A conductive heating film on the back warms the mirror surface evenly. The mirror stays 5 to 8°C warmer than the room. Water vapor does not condense on the surface. Turn on the defogging function. In about 2 to 3 minutes, the fog starts to clear from the center outward. In about 5 minutes, the whole mirror is clear. This is faster than many other defogging mirrors. Our heating film power density is well designed. It is not slow. It does not overheat and damage the mirror.

The heating film is the core of the defogging mirror. We use a PET-based film with conductive carbon or metal foil. It is only 0.5mm thick. You barely notice it on the back. The power density is about 150 to 200W per square meter. For an 80×100cm mirror, the defogging power is about 120 to 160 watts. We tested this power level carefully. It starts clearing fog within 2 to 3 minutes. The surface temperature stays below 40°C. It will not burn your hand. It will not damage the mirror coating.

The defogging and lighting functions are controlled separately. You can turn on the light without the defog. You can turn on the defog without the light. Or turn both on. A dual-button design makes this clear. We also added a thoughtful feature. The defogging function turns off automatically after 45 minutes. This prevents you from forgetting to turn it off and wasting power. If you need longer defogging, just press the switch again.

A defog mirror needs one extra power wire for the heating film. Installation is still simple. The wall needs a live and neutral wire. The film's power wire connects to the wall wires, just like the light. If your wall does not have pre-wired cables, we can connect the film and the light to one switch. But then you cannot control them separately. We recommend pre-wiring two wires during your renovation. This gives you full function.
